In the upcoming Season 3 of Solo Leveling, we’ll see the storyline of the Double Dungeon Arc unfold, where protagonist Sung Jinwoo encounters a character known as Kandiaru, also called the Architect. This mysterious figure is the mastermind behind the system that our hero navigates, knowing every detail about it – including why Jinwoo was singled out among others. Upon reaching level 100, Jinwoo receives an invitation to the Cartenon Temple from the Architect. Instead of rushing off immediately, Jinwoo eventually decides to venture towards this sacred location.

At their arrival, the Architect promptly subjects the hero to a trial, where he must vanquish all the statues to pass. True to form, Jinwoo swiftly dispatched them. Kandiaru was suitably impressed and proposed another contest. This time, Jinwoo needed to defeat the Architect within 10 minutes, or face certain death. At first, Kandiaru held the upper hand, leaving Sung Jinwoo with mere moments to spare. Yet, remarkably, Jinwoo reclaimed control of the fight and emerged victorious against Kandiaru.

After the Architect is defeated, he induces a trance-like state in Jinwoo. He recognizes that it’s time for the Shadow Monarch to take over Jinwoo’s body. In this trance, some Korean Hunters arrive at the Cartenon Temple. Seeing them, the Architect feels both amazed and alarmed, deciding to offer these Hunters as sacrifices to the Shadow Monarch. The Hunters find themselves battling the statues, but ultimately decide to rouse Jinwoo from his trance. Despite their best efforts, it appears that Jinwoo remains unconscious. With another massacre seemingly imminent, Jinwoo finally awakens and attacks Kandiaru, leaving the villain bewildered.
