The long-awaited game titled “Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment” will be available for purchase starting November 6, 2025. Pre-orders are currently being accepted on the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo Switch 2. In collaboration with Nintendo, Koei Tecmo has confirmed that this game will be released on the Switch 2 during Winter 2025. Now, fans can mark their calendars with a specific launch date to eagerly anticipate.

The action game titled “Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment” was initially unveiled during the April 2021 Nintendo Direct, generating excitement among fans who appreciate its distinctive “Dynasty Warriors”-style battle mechanics from the spin-off series. As per the initial story trailer, “Age of Imprisonment” follows Zelda’s journey during the events of “Tears of the Kingdom,” shedding light on her experiences during her trip to the past. Although it shares a resemblance in presentation with “Age of Calamity,” which is the previous installment in the Hyrule Warriors series, the game’s combat inspired by “Tears of the Kingdom” and new narrative elements might offer a refreshing twist.
