2025 has been a fantastic year for anime, with popular series like *Solo Leveling*, *The Apothecary Diaries*, and *Takopi’s Original Sin* releasing new episodes. While some of these shows have already finished, fans are now anticipating the conclusion of what many consider to be the year’s biggest hit: *Dandadan*.
The second season of Dandadan premiered in 2025 and has been fantastic! However, it will be ending on September 18, 2025. While Dandadan has been a wonderful series, there are currently no plans for a third season.

I’ve been watching Dandadan, and it’s actually had two parts to its first season – they call them ‘cours’, but it feels like two seasons to me. The first part really grabbed my attention with its crazy action sequences, like the fight with Turbo Granny, and a good dose of humor and romance. There was a lot of excitement when the second part aired in 2025, but unfortunately, the series is wrapping up now.
The final episode of Dandadan will be released on September 18, 2025, which is almost here! Fans are excited for the season finale and to see what happens next in the series. It’s sad, but in just one week, viewers will have to finish watching Dandadan for now.
When Will Dandadan Season 3 Come Out?
It’s Far Too Early For Season 3
The second season of Dandadan is ending, but fans are still waiting for official news about a third season. While it hasn’t been confirmed yet, most people expect it to happen – the director has even hinted at it!
Fuga Yamashiro shared that an upcoming story arc in Dandadan will introduce lots of aliens and new characters. He was relieved it wasn’t part of Season Two, explaining that adding a unique color for each new character would have quickly become impossible. He managed to avoid that challenge with this season’s cast.
While a third season of Dandadan will likely be announced eventually, don’t expect it soon. The earliest it could air is late 2027, but 2028 is a more realistic timeframe for its release.
