The newest update to Xbox Game Pass includes *Wobbly Life*, a popular open-world game that’s great to play with friends. Xbox Game Pass is frequently updated with new games, so there’s always something fresh to enjoy. While most new releases are for PC and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, it’s good to see a game added to the standard Xbox Game Pass tier as well.
Good news for Xbox Game Pass subscribers! *Frostpunk 2* is now playable on consoles for those with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. It was originally released on PC as part of Game Pass last year. If you have the standard Xbox Game Pass, you’ll be able to play *Frostpunk 2* soon, and in the meantime, you can explore the other games recently added to the service.
Wobbly Life is Now Live on Steam
The quirky open-world game *Wobbly Life* is now available for Game Pass subscribers on all tiers. Originally released in 2020, *Wobbly Life* is a physics-based sandbox where you can explore, complete missions, and unlock items either solo or with friends through split-screen or online co-op. While professional reviews are still limited, players on Steam have given the game overwhelmingly positive feedback. If you’re looking for a fun, open-world experience, especially to play with others, *Wobbly Life* is worth checking out now that it’s on Game Pass.
I enjoyed playing *Wobbly Life* a few years back. It’s fantastic that it’s now included with Game Pass for all subscribers except those with the Core plan, making it accessible to almost everyone who uses Microsoft’s gaming service.
If you’re like me and always hunting for new games to play, especially if you’ve had your fill of *Wobbly Life*, you’re in luck! Xbox Game Pass is getting a bunch of cool additions in September 2025. We’re talking *Hades* dropping on the 19th, then *Endless Legend 2* on the 22nd, *Sworn* on the 23rd. And if you’ve got little gamers in the family, *Peppa Pig: World Adventures* and *Visions of Mana* are coming on the 25th. To finish off the month, on September 30th, I’m excited to jump into *Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light*!
