Boruto: Kishimoto Officially Confirms The Next User Of Baryon Mode

With each new chapter, *Boruto: Two Blue Vortex* is getting more and more intense, as the artist, Ikemoto, continues to introduce incredibly powerful characters. The second part of *Boruto* has started off strong, and a highlight has been seeing how much stronger our favorite characters have become after the time skip, with abilities that are truly off the charts.

I’ve noticed fans have really embraced the powerful abilities we’ve seen in the story, from characters like Uzuhiko to Sarada unlocking her new Mangekyo Sharingan. But if there’s one power everyone keeps talking about, it’s Baryon Mode – that incredible ability that let Naruto surpass even Isshiki. It’s interesting to think that Baryon Mode could still play a big role in what happens next in Two Blue Vortex.

Baryon Mode is an extremely powerful transformation that Naruto Uzumaki used during his battle with Isshiki Otsutsuki. After starting the fight in Six Paths Sage Mode, Naruto found himself unable to defeat his opponent. That’s when Kurama suggested using Baryon Mode.

Baryon Mode essentially combines the chakra of the Tailed Beasts and their human hosts (the Jinchuriki) to generate a completely new, immensely powerful energy source. Kurama explains that the process is conceptually similar to nuclear fusion. When Naruto activated Baryon Mode, his strength increased dramatically, allowing him to fight on equal footing with Isshiki Otsutsuki. At its height, Naruto’s power even surpassed Isshiki’s, making him the strongest human ever seen in the Naruto universe.

Sadly, Baryon Mode has a time limit. This powerful form ends when either user runs out of chakra, and that’s what happened with Kurama. When Kurama’s chakra was depleted, he died, and Naruto was left with no abilities.

Himawari Is Far More Compatible With Kurama

After Naruto Uzumaki lost the power of the Nine-Tailed Fox, Kurama, it seemed he’d never regain that strength. While some fans wished Kurama would return to him eventually, it became evident that wouldn’t happen. Kurama was instead reborn as Naruto’s daughter, Himawari.

This development suggests Himawari could potentially use Baryon Mode. Unlike Naruto and Sasuke, her use of it might not be limited to a single, temporary boost – she could potentially use it repeatedly and for extended periods.

Himawari Could Surpass Naruto

It might be a little confusing, but fans already know why. Himawari and Kurama work much better together than Naruto and Kurama do. They’re more compatible, and as a result, Himawari could handle the strain of Baryon Mode much more easily than Naruto. Ultimately, Himawari has the potential to become even stronger than her father, Naruto Uzumaki.
