As a longtime fan of Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super, I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing some truly epic battles over the years. Among them all, none have left me as awestruck as the appearance of Vegito Blue. Having grown up watching Goku and Vegeta’s individual journeys, it was a thrilling experience to see them merge into this godlike being that effortlessly took on their most formidable foes.

As a huge fan of Dragon Ball, I can’t help but be in awe of Fusion – one of the most captivating additions to the series. When two powerful warriors manage to merge into a single entity, they not only inherit the strength of both individuals, but also gain an additional power boost, making them truly formidable characters. The Potara Earrings are one way Dragon Ball’s mightiest warriors can achieve this incredible fusion state.

After placing an earring in each ear, the two warriors are swiftly transported towards each other. Upon collision, a burst of Ki energy causes them to combine, resulting in a potent fusion. The most renowned Potara Fusion is none other than Vegito, a powerful Saiyan capable of transforming into the divine Super Saiyan God form – Super Saiyan Blue.

After the intense battle with Universe 6 had ended, there wasn’t much left for us heroes to do but focus on our training. But just as we were getting settled into our routine, out of nowhere came Future Trunks, launching a surprise attack against Goku. Confused and taken aback, we watched as he explained the dire situation in his timeline. You see, once the menace of the Androids had been vanquished, Trunks had become the sole guardian of his reality. However, tragedy struck when a new enemy emerged, bearing an uncanny resemblance to our very own Goku. This foe wreaked havoc in Trunks’ timeline, leaving destruction in its wake. Desperate for help, Trunks made the decision to seek out the Z-Fighters in our present timeline and ask for our assistance in putting down this treacherous figure.

While traveling to Trunks’ time, Goku and Vegeta encountered Goku Black and Zamasu, who outmatched them during their initial encounter. After regaining some strength, the duo intensified their training and managed to defeat them in a subsequent battle. However, the antagonists had a hidden plan as they combined into Merged Zamasu using the Potara Earrings.

Because the wicked fusion was too powerful for them to handle, Goku and Vegeta chose to fuse together. Realizing they needed to become stronger, the Saiyans put on the Potara earrings and merged into Vegito. Nearly twenty years after his initial appearance, Vegito reappeared in the series! In order to defeat his enemy who wielded God Ki, Vegito drew out the hidden power of the Saiyans and transformed into Super Saiyan Blue.

Using divine power bestowed upon him by God Ki, Vegito effectively countered Merzedes Zamasu’s formidable assaults with a mere hand. Throughout their fierce battle, Vegito kept Zamasu guessing with his extraordinary strength and breathtaking agility. While the confrontation was more balanced than Vegito’s encounter with Buu, the fusion held an evident advantage in power. Had the timer not interrupted the fight prematurely, the villain would have met his demise at Vegito’s hands!

Vegito’s Personality

As a devoted fan, I’ve observed Vegito’s character evolution with great interest. Although his power level sets him apart from nearly all opponents, Vegito’s self-assured and cocky demeanor has remained consistent since his fight against Buu. However, during his battle against Merged Zamasu, there was a noticeable shift in Vegito’s attitude. The gravity of the situation seemed to have added a layer of seriousness to his actions, making him appear more focused and determined than ever before.

Even though I faced strong opposition, I remained confident in my skills and didn’t hesitate to taunt my adversary during the fight. With a combination of Goku’s humility and Vegeta’s arrogance flowing through me as Vegito, I mocked my opponents mercilessly to remind them of their inferiority.

The Strength of Vegito Blue

In just one appearance in the show, Vegito Blue stands out as a formidable character in the series, boasting immense power. During his clash with Zamasu, he initially matched his strength. However, Vegito’s incredible growth and untapped potential soon gave him the upper hand. Towards the end of their fight, Zamasu found it increasingly difficult to keep pace, a fact that even Vegito acknowledged.

I was under the impression that your body served as the embodiment and instrument of your righteous fury. But it seems unable to match my pace, doesn’t it?

Despite the impressive power-ups obtained by the characters in Dragon Ball Super since their encounter with Zamasu, Vegito remains one of the most powerful figures in the entire series. In the ongoing storyline, if Goku and Vegeta were to merge into him, the resulting fusion would bring a mortal incredibly close to God of Destruction-level strength.

Notable Techniques

Final Kamehameha: A combination of Goku and Vegeta’s signature attacks, this move is one of the strongest in all of Dragon Ball.
Spirit Sword: Vegito’s signature move. He forms a long sword made of Ki from his hand to pierce and slash his opponents. It is one of the strongest moves in the franchise.
Instant Transmission: Goku’s most useful technique allows Vegito to teleport to anywhere he chooses. This can be a few meters or even across many lightyears.
