Behaviour Interactive just released a new chapter for Dead by Daylight called Sinister Grace. It introduces a frightening new Killer and a lively new Survivor, both drawing inspiration from Thai folklore. Dead by Daylight Sinister Grace Chapter Story and Characters
The new *Dead by Daylight* chapter, Sinister Grace, introduces a terrifying new Killer called The Krasue. This gruesome creature is a skinless monster with exposed organs, and her backstory is as unsettling as her appearance. Once an opera singer named Burong Sukapat, she made a dark bargain to gain an incredible voice, sacrificing her body in the process. Burong used her powers to sabotage rivals and even curse audiences before becoming a wandering spirit who feeds on the remains of the dead. Facing her is the new Survivor, Vee Boonyasak, a charismatic drummer from a popular punk band who became entangled in The Fog after discovering haunting recordings of Burong’s singing. Both The Krasue and Vee join the game’s roster of musical characters in the Sinister Grace chapter.
Behaviour Interactive prioritized outfits that reflected the backgrounds of The Krasue and Vee. According to Product Director Rose Li, The Krasue’s outfit is inspired by her past as an opera singer, and Vee’s clothing captures the energetic style of her band, Axekick. These characters are designed to be reflections of each other, sharing similarities while also having dramatically different stories, creating a compelling dynamic between the new Killer and Survivor in *Dead by Daylight*.
Popular crossovers like those featuring *Resident Evil*, *Alien*, and *Stranger Things* have been a big hit in *Dead by Daylight*. However, many players also enjoy the game’s original content, which draws on folklore and legends from around the world. Thai horror, in particular, has become increasingly popular, and the addition of The Krasue and Vee Boonyasak to *Dead by Daylight* has been well-received as a way to bring new and unique ideas to the game.
