Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will arrive on PlayStation 5 on December 8, 2025, over a year after it first became available on Xbox Series X|S and PC. The series began in 1982, originally for IBM computers, and has grown to include over a dozen titles in its 43-year run. However, releases have become less frequent since *Microsoft Flight Simulator X* came out in 2006.

While the original PC and Xbox versions had some initial loading time problems, the game was praised for its stunning graphics and innovative features like landscape streaming – a big improvement over the 2020 release.
