Voidtrain version 1.0 is officially launching on November 7th, according to HypeTrain Digital. The game will be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers right away.
Voidtrain is a cooperative survival game where you build and travel with a mobile base. The game gets its name from a train that journeys through a dangerous world called The Void. Players work together – up to four can join – to explore different landscapes, collect materials, craft gear, and fight off enemies in outposts and arenas.
Voidtrain Gets a November Release Date and New Gameplay Trailer
After two and a half years in early access, the complete version of *Voidtrain* will officially launch on November 7th. This update, version 1.0, includes Chapter 3, which finishes the game’s main story. Players can expect to meet new characters as they reach the emotional and satisfying conclusion promised by HypeTrain Digital.
Voidtrain Seemingly Skipping PlayStation at Launch
The release date for *Voidtrain* was revealed in a new gameplay trailer shown at IGN Fan Fest 2025: Fall Edition. The trailer listed the platforms the game will be available on, but surprisingly left out the PS5 – even though it had been previously confirmed for PlayStation 5 and has an official listing on the PS Store. HypeTrain Digital hasn’t explained why the PS5 version won’t be available at launch. While Microsoft used to offer deals for staggered releases like this, that’s less likely now that even their own Xbox games are appearing on other platforms. It’s probably that the PS5 version of *Voidtrain* just needs more time to finish development.
What Early Access Players Are Saying About Voidtrain
Beyond PC Game Pass and the Microsoft Store, players will be able to find the PC version of *Voidtrain* on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Since its initial release as an early access title, the open-world survival crafting game has received over 3,000 “Mostly Positive” reviews in English on Steam. More recently, user feedback has been even stronger, with Steam now classifying reviews as “Very Positive.” Many fans specifically highlight the game’s detailed bartering system and diverse content as key strengths, considering the $29.99 price tag to be a great deal. However, some negative reviews mention issues with the writing and how items are managed in the inventory.

Voidtrain is the sixth game coming to Xbox Game Pass in November 2025. It will be available after Football Manager 26 and before Winter Burrow, which are set to release on November 4th and 12th, respectively. Microsoft is expected to announce the complete list of games for the first wave of November releases around November 4th, following their usual schedule.
