Palworld Teases Upcoming Halloween Event

Palworld is coming out on October 23rd and will likely include special, limited-time events with characters named Zoe and Depresso. This isn’t the first time Palworld has celebrated Halloween; last year, the game received a Halloween update with free items and improvements, as Palworld is currently in early access.

For Halloween 2024 in Palworld, all players got four free skins: Halloween Cattiva, Spectacled Katress, Pirate Pengullet, and Halloween Croajiro. A trailer showed off these skins and hinted at the Halloween celebration. Now, as the full game release approaches, the developers at Pocketpair seem to be planning another Halloween event, possibly a bigger one than last year’s.

Palworld Shares Details of Its 2025 Halloween Event

Good news for Palworld players – a new event starts October 23rd! Pocketpair announced the Halloween-themed festival will feature the characters Zoe and Depresso. Expect to see mysterious creatures dressed in Depresso costumes wandering the Palpagos Islands, and Zoe Rayne sporting a unique witch outfit. While it’s unknown exactly how the event will change gameplay, starting a week earlier than last year hints that it might include more than just cosmetic items and decorations.

  • Start Date: October 23
  • End Date: Undisclosed
  • Featured Characters: Zoe Rayne and Depresso (Pal)

After seeing the teaser for the upcoming event, many Palworld players have speculated that there might be a new thematic skin for Grizzbolt, since it belongs to Zoe, who appears on the poster. Others believe it’s likely that new Halloween-themed outfits will be added to Palworld‘s Pal Dressing Facility. Meanwhile, some are jokingly criticizing Pocketpair for missing the chance to name the event “Palloween,” which would have been a perfect fit.

The community is enjoying the news about the upcoming Halloween event in Palworld, but many are still a bit let down that there won’t be a big winter update this year. Pocketpair, the game’s developer, explained that the team is concentrating on the full game release planned for early 2026, so this year’s winter update won’t be as substantial as last year’s Feybreak patch. However, they promise to keep surprising players with new content before the 1.0 launch, and the Halloween event is the first of these surprises.
