In Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Side Mission 063 tasks you with finding an Extra-Large Gogoat. You might encounter one naturally while playing, but this guide will show you a faster way to complete the mission and get your XL Gogoat in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
How to Get XL Gogoat in Pokemon Legends Z-A
Catch Alpha Skiddo
To get a large-sized Gogoat, you first need to catch an Alpha Skiddo. Although Alpha Skiddo don’t appear in a specific location, you can make one appear in Wild Zone 3. Here’s how:
- Fast travel to Wild Zone 3, but do not enter it.
- Approach the fence to the left of the southern entrance, and see what Pokemon have spawned in the southwest quadrant of Wild Zone 3.
- If an Alpha Skiddo has not spawned, repeat Steps 1 and 2.
- If an Alpha Skiddo has spawned, enter Wild Zone 3 and catch it.
Whenever a player quickly travels to Wild Zone 3, all the Pokémon there will reappear. Specifically, Pokémon in the southwestern part of the zone have a chance of respawning as Alpha Skiddos. It’s important to note that simply fast traveling doesn’t make defeated or caught Pokémon reappear in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. Because of this, players shouldn’t enter Wild Zone 3 unless they’ve already spotted an Alpha Skiddo. Capturing or defeating any other Pokémon in the zone will actually lower the chances of the Alpha Skiddo appearing.
Evolve Alpha Skiddo
Once you’ve caught an Alpha Skiddo, your next goal is to evolve it into Gogoat. This happens when Skiddo reaches Level 32 – you can speed up the process using Exp. Candies if you like. When the Alpha Skiddo evolves, it becomes a Gogoat classified as XL size, which you can then deliver to Lugo to finish the Extra-Large Gogoat side quest.
An Extra-Large Gogoat Rewards in Pokemon Legends: Z-A
After you give the XL Gogoat to Lugo and finish the Extra-Large Gogoat quest, you’ll get these rewards:
- 8,000 Poke Coins
- 10x Carbos
Carbos raise a Pokémon’s Speed stat during EV training, which can be helpful for players trying to maximize their Pokémon’s potential.
