In Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, Sheriff Benny Muldoon is causing problems. If you want to learn about the mark on Phyre’s hand and gain favor with the Prince, you’ll have to track down Benny and handle the situation.
Okay, so it turns out I’m not the only one after Benny. Katsumi, who runs the Anarchs here in Seattle in Bloodlines 2, also wants a piece of him and plans to punish him herself. Basically, if I hand Benny over to Ryong or Katsumi, it’s going to seriously impact my standing with the Camarilla and the Anarchs. I’m going to have to pick a side, and that choice will decide who I end up working with.
What Happens If You Give Benny to Katsumi in Bloodlines 2?
As expected, Benny will be kidnapped by Katsumi’s group, and you won’t see him again. Katsumi will express her gratitude for your help and invite you to meet her gang at the Hole in the Wall. While handing Benny over will create a friendly connection with the Anarchs, Prince Ryong won’t be pleased with the outcome.
When you return to Weaver Tower, Ryong will be unhappy, but she’ll still allow you to remain in Seattle. More importantly, with the Sheriff gone, she’s offering you Benny’s former position, which will open up the rest of the Bloodlines 2 storyline. While the Camarilla won’t be pleased you didn’t bring Benny back, they’ll overlook your recent breach of the Masquerade for the time being.
What Happens If You Give Benny to Ryong in Bloodlines 2?
Giving Benny to Ryong is very similar to the previous situation, but reversed. Instead of befriending the Anarchs, you’ll improve your standing with Prince Ryong and the Camarilla. Even though Katsumi will be upset by your choice and threatens you, she won’t attack or completely reject you. She’ll be less friendly, but will still invite you to the Hole in the Wall, leaving the door open for you to reconsider.
When you return to Weaver Tower, Ryong will be happy to have Benny back. She’ll ensure he’s punished according to vampire law, and he won’t be a factor in the story anymore. This will improve your standing with Ryong and other respected vampires, and as before, she’ll appoint you Sheriff to take Benny’s place.
Giving Benny to either Ryong or Katsumi in Bloodlines 2 doesn’t significantly change the overall story. One character will be pleased with your choice, and the other will disapprove, but this decision isn’t a major focus by the game’s end. However,
