We weren’t expecting to be talking about this, but The White House recently shared a surprising image on social media. It shows President Donald Trump dressed as Master Chief from the video game Halo, saluting the American flag. He’s holding an energy sword, with the White House visible in the background.
GameStop recently announced they’re putting an end to the console wars, with the upcoming release of Halo on PlayStation. This announcement seems to imply that President Trump played a role in achieving this peace.
Commander in (Master) Chief
Halo Studios recently announced Halo: Campaign Evolved during the Halo World Championship. With development on Halo Infinite wrapping up, the studio is now exploring new projects, including a rebuilt version of the original Halo game from 2001, powered by Unreal Engine 5. This reimagining revives the game that launched the entire Halo series on the original Xbox.
So, a few months ago, back in August, people digging through the game files and really dedicated fans started finding hints that Halo might come to PlayStation. Turns out those hints were actually about Halo: Combat Evolved! It looks like that’s the version they were referencing.
It’s pretty wild – I found out about this game through a bizarre image The White House posted! Apparently, they used AI to create a picture of President Trump dressed up as Master Chief, the main character. It’s definitely a strange way to get people talking about it, but hey, it got my attention!

Donald Trump recently posted a video online – not one he made himself – depicting him flying a fighter jet and appearing to drop a brown liquid on protestors. This was a dig at the “No Kings” movement, but the video was actually created using artificial intelligence. Sharing the clip sparked criticism from many people.
Kenny Loggins, the singer of “Danger Zone” – the iconic song from Top Gun – was one of those upset by the video Trump shared.
Is the White House going too far by using AI to create something similar to the game Halo, or is it not a big deal? Share your thoughts on the TopMob Discord server.
