Fans are still waiting to learn the identity of the final Straw Hat crew member, but the creator, Oda, actually introduced them into the story about eight years ago. It turns out he revealed the character a long time ago, and fans just haven’t realized it yet!

Big Mom believes that if her daughter Lola had married Loki from Elbaf, she herself would have already achieved her goal of becoming the Pirate King.

Loki was first introduced about eight years ago during the Whole Cake Island arc. He was mentioned as part of Lola’s unsuccessful marriage to the prince of Elbaf, and at that time, fans began to suspect he would become a significant character. This was actually when Eiichiro Oda first hinted at a potential future member of the Straw Hat crew.

The Elbaf arc introduced Loki, a character long anticipated by fans. Despite being presented as a potential enemy, it was always hinted that Loki was a good person deep down. He dreamed of becoming the Sun God Nika and freely exploring the ocean, and he strongly opposed the authority of the World Government. These qualities make him an ideal fit for the Straw Hat Pirates.

I’ve been thinking about why Loki might end up joining the Straw Hat Pirates, and it really comes down to his relationship with Elbaf. The people of Elbaf clearly didn’t see him as one of their own, painting him as a monster he isn’t. Because of that, it makes sense he wouldn’t want to stay. They didn’t care for him, and honestly, he doesn’t seem to care much for them either.

Luffy And Loki Are Destined To Fight Together

Adding to everything else, fans should also remember that Loki and Luffy seem fated to team up. The mural on Elbaf distinctly depicts the ancient giant Loki fighting with Nika during the Great War, suggesting Loki will be an ally to Luffy when the time comes.
