The popular mobile game Pokémon GO has announced details for its next big event: Wild Area: Nagasaki, launching in just over a week. Pokémon GO regularly hosts events that introduce new Pokémon and variations to the game. Following the recent Halloween event which added Poltchageist and Sinistcha, another major event is coming soon.
Following the global popularity of Pokemon GO, Niantic has regularly organized real-world events for players. The annual “GO Tour” includes live events in cities across the US, Europe, and Japan, offering unique Pokemon encounters, Raid battles, and opportunities to connect with other players. Another type of event, “Wild Area,” centers around special Pokemon appearing in a single city each year. Now, Niantic is releasing all the information about the 2025 Wild Area event.
I’m so excited for the next Pokemon GO event! It’s called Wild Area 2025 and it’s happening in Nagasaki, Japan. From November 7th to 9th, the event is all about Dark and Fairy-type Pokemon – we even get to pick which type we want to focus on for some Special Research! But the best part? They’re releasing a shiny Unown-K! Plus, there will be a cool in-game stamp rally, special outfits for our trainers, and Supply Balloons filled with GO Safari Balls to help us catch ’em all. It sounds like a fantastic event, and I can’t wait to participate!
