One Piece is incredibly popular worldwide, having been a huge hit in Japan for many years and now gaining fans internationally. So, it’s no surprise the series is expanding! While the original anime continues to air, a remake from Wit Studio is coming soon, and now One Piece is getting its own spin-off series.

A spin-off series was announced previously, and now we have a first look at the character designs. This spin-off, titled One Piece Heroines, will center around the female characters from One Piece, and is inspired by a series of novels. While an official release date hasn’t been announced, fans are already very excited.

I’m so hyped about the new One Piece spin-off, One Piece Heroines! It’s finally happening – a series completely centered around the amazing women of One Piece. Honestly, a lot of us fans have been waiting for this for ages, and I can’t wait to see what they do with it!

I’m so excited about this new One Piece spin-off anime, One Piece: Heroines! It’s based on a novel of the same name, but here’s the interesting part: it wasn’t written by Eiichiro Oda, the original creator! Instead, it’s the work of Jun Esaka, with beautiful illustrations by Sayaka Suwa. I’m really curious to see their take on the One Piece world!

A new series of novels, One Piece Heroines, will explore the backstories of beloved female characters from One Piece. While focusing on Nami and Robin, the novels will also delve into the stories of Vivi, Perona, Hancock, Tashigi, Reiju, and Uta. Whether these stories are adapted into the anime remains to be seen, but the novels promise an exciting experience with a fresh art style based on designs by Takashi Kojima.

Many fans were curious if the character designs would match the original artwork by Oda. However, the revealed designs for the female members of the Straw Hat crew actually follow the art style of the novel itself, rather than Oda’s usual style.

Robin’s new design has been unveiled, and it’s a noticeably different look for her, quite a change from Oda’s typical style.

One Piece Heroines Anime Release Date

An Update Will Be Provided Soon

I’ve been seeing a lot of excitement online now that the character designs for the new One Piece Heroines anime are out, and everyone’s asking when it will actually come out. As of right now, there’s no confirmed release date. It looks like we’ll have to be patient and wait for more news, and there’s a good chance we’ll hear something at Jump Festa in December. Considering it seems like One Piece Heroines will be a shorter series, a release sometime in 2026 feels pretty likely.

Episode 1148 of One Piece will be released later this week. You can watch the entire series on Crunchyroll. The next episode is scheduled to arrive on Sunday, November 2, 2025. Also, Chapter 1165 of the manga will be available next week, releasing on Sundays. In Japan, new chapters and episodes become available at 12 AM JST on Mondays. The official release date for Chapter 1165 is November 9, 2025, and it will be available to read for free on Manga Plus.
