When Can You Pre-Load Monster Hunter Stories 3?
Monster Hunter Stories 3 will be released on March 13, 2026. If you’re playing on PlayStation 5, you’ll be able to start downloading the game two days early, on March 11, 2026. Currently, pre-load dates for the Xbox Series X|S and PC versions haven’t been announced.
Looking at Capcom’s previous game releases for Xbox and PC, we expect pre-loading to become available on those platforms around the same time as on PlayStation 5. As for Monster Hunter Stories 3 on the Nintendo Switch 2, pre-loading is officially scheduled to begin on March 6, 2026, according to the game’s pre-order page.

What Is the File Size of Monster Hunter Stories 3?
Monster Hunter Stories 3 needs about 50 GB of storage space on PC. We expect the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions to need a similar amount, based on Capcom’s previous games. The Switch 2 version might require less storage, but Capcom hasn’t announced the file size for that version yet.
