The Celeste’s Journals quest in ARC Raiders asks players to find two journals – one at the South Swamp Outpost and another at the Northern Outpost near the Red Lakes. Because these locations are far apart, the quest requires you to collect both journals in a single run, making it a challenging mission. To complete the quest, you need to find both of Celeste’s Journals during the same playthrough – it doesn’t matter which one you get first. If you don’t get both in one go, the quest might break, and you’ll have to start over completely, even if you’ve already found one of the journals.
South Swamp Outpost Journal Location in ARC Raiders (Celeste’s Journals)
In ARC Raiders, the first journal for Celeste’s Journals quest is found at the South Swamp Outpost. This outpost is west of the Water Treatment Control building in the Dam Battlegrounds. It’s helpful to collect Adrenaline Shots along the way to help with stamina while traveling to the location.
You’ll find an old, rundown building with a rusty door and a rounded top. Be careful and listen for enemies, as they often appear in this area.
When you go inside, look around for a bedroll with a journal on it. Interact with the on-screen prompt to begin your search and collect the first entry of Celeste’s Journal at the South Swamp Outpost in ARC Raiders.
Northern Outpost Overlooking the Red Lakes Journal Location in ARC Raiders (Celeste’s Journals)
Okay, so finding the Northern Outpost in ARC Raiders can be a little confusing. The map actually labels it as “Raider Outpost East” near the Red Lakes. If you start down south, just stick to the edge of the map and you’ll eventually run into it.
As you get closer, you’ll see Raider Outpost East perched on a cliff overlooking the Red Lakes – it has a surprisingly good view! To reach the Northern Outpost, look for one of the rocky paths leading up the side of the hill.
The inside of this location is set up much like the South Swamp Outpost. Find a bedroll and interact with the Journal on it. Once you’ve gotten Celeste’s Journal from the Northern Outpost near the Red Lakes, make your way to the nearest extraction point.
If you find both journals at the same time, the Celeste’s Journals quest will finish, and you’ll get a reward of 1 Magnetic Acceleration, 1 Exodus Modules, and 3 Heavy Gun Parts.
The Celeste’s Journals quest can sometimes break if you finish a raid with only one journal page left in your backpack. Here’s how to fix it if that happens.
- Visit Dam Battlegrounds again
- Drop the journal from your inventory
- Visit the two locations again and redo the search to update the quests properly.
- Extract from Dam Battlegrounds with both journals in your backpack.
This update resolves a bug in the Celeste’s Journals quest for ARC Raiders, allowing you to continue with the rest of the game’s story.
