You can even pick up right where you left off, even after completely turning off and restarting the console.

This feature works with almost all Xbox games, letting you quickly switch between up to five titles. Xbox saves a snapshot of your game directly to the console’s memory, pausing the action instantly. Because the Xbox Series consoles have super-fast storage, you can jump back into any of those saved games in just a moment. This is especially useful for games with long loading times or for families who share the console and play different games.

Xbox’s Quick Resume is handy, but it can sometimes be buggy. Remember, it’s different from actually saving your game – it doesn’t guarantee your progress will be kept if something goes wrong.

Quick Resume Remains Xbox’s Greatest Advantage Over PlayStation
