Levi Retires from League Esports and Pivots to Content Creation

Popular Vietnamese League of Legends player, Đỗ “Levi” Duy Khánh, recently announced his retirement from professional gaming in a YouTube video. He explained that he wants to focus on his personal life, including starting a family, and believes he can’t do that while continuing to compete at a professional level.

Instead, Levi will shift his focus to creating and streaming content, continuing to engage with the League of Legends community through broadcasts for his large following.

Levi Has Officially Retired from League of Legends Esports

Levi has been a competitive League of Legends player almost since the game’s esports scene became popular. He’s been consistently good since 2013, and in a recent video announcing his retirement, he shared that League of Legends was his true calling in life.

He would go on to become known as one of the most effective junglers in League of Legends.

In his video, Levi said:

I’m looking forward to a happier future, with lots of smiles, and I hope we all stay connected. This is me saying goodbye to my time as a professional League of Legends player and hello to the next chapter as a streamer.

Levi is a well-known and highly respected player in the Pacific region, and many consider him the greatest player Vietnam has ever produced.

Like many other retired esports competitors, Levi will now turn his attention to content creation:

I really enjoy streaming, and even when I was actively competing, I spent much of my downtime connecting with people online. Making others laugh is a big part of why I love it. I still plan to play and follow League of Legends, including watching professional games.
