He described the game as unique, noting that while it initially appears to be a horror game, its underlying mechanics are anything but typical. Kojima explained that everything in OD is created within a game engine, but it’s built on a completely new system, leading to a collaborative effort with Microsoft to create a brand new gaming experience.
