Steam Users Have Until December 30 to Claim Free Game With ‘Mostly Positive’ Reviews

PC gamers using Steam have received several free games this month, and the newest addition is Caveman World: Mountains of Unga Boonga. While Steam doesn’t have a regular free mystery game promotion like the Epic Games Store, many publishers are still offering games for free on the platform during the holidays.

This month, Steam gave away several free games, including Rat Quest and The Deed: Dynasty, which were available until about noon on December 25th. While Rat Quest, The Deed: Dynasty, and other previously free games are no longer available, PC gamers can now claim a new free game on the platform.

Steam is giving away Caveman World: Mountains of Unga Boonga for free until December 30th at noon Central Time. While it usually costs $1.99, you can grab it at no cost. Many Steam players recommend the game – it has a “Mostly Positive” rating – so if you enjoy platformers, it’s worth adding to your collection.

Caveman World: Mountains of Unga Boonga is a classic side-scrolling platformer first released in 2016. Like other games in the genre, you’ll collect items, dodge obstacles, and defeat enemies as you explore.
