QubicGames has released Coloring Book on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. This relaxing game lets up to four players color in different pictures, featuring everything from adorable sea creatures to fun cartoon cars. While the calming gameplay is a big appeal, many PlayStation 5 owners will likely download the free-to-play game to easily earn its Platinum Trophy.
QubicGames creates a lot of easy-to-play games, primarily for the Nintendo Switch eShop, but they also release them on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Popular games from QubicGames include Robonauts, Om Nom: Run, and Hole io, which have sold over a million copies in total. Their newest game is called Coloring Book.

Originally released for Nintendo Switch in 2018, the free game Coloring Book is now available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox consoles. It’s a cooperative game where up to four players can color a variety of fun, family-friendly pictures using over 300 colors and nine different tools. While designed for kids, Coloring Book‘s relaxing gameplay is enjoyable for players of all ages.
Beyond its relaxing gameplay, Coloring Book is a very easy game to earn a Platinum Trophy in. To get it, you simply need to finish coloring every page, use 20 different colors in a single picture, try out each of the painting tools, and complete three drawings using only shades of red, orange, black, white, and gray. With only 23 PS5 trophies total (including the Platinum), it should take most players just a few hours to achieve 100% completion.
Besides the main trophies, Coloring Book has 42 more you can earn through downloadable content (DLC). Each DLC pack adds new coloring pages, and completing them unlocks additional trophies. While these aren’t required for the Platinum trophy, completionists who want to achieve 100% completion on their profile will need to buy all 13 of the game’s free add-ons.
Most of the downloadable content (DLC) for Coloring Book costs $4.99 each on the PlayStation Store in the US, except for the Whiteboards add-on which is $1.99. If you want all the DLC and to fully complete the game, you can buy the Coloring Book: Complete Bundle. This bundle includes 373 new images to color and normally costs $24.99. However, PlayStation Plus members can get it for $14.99 (40% off) until January 19th.
