Persona 5’s Strangest Crossover Yet Teased

The popular Persona 5 group, the Phantom Thieves, could soon be taking on their biggest challenge yet: inspiring players to live healthier lives. This is hinted at in a new online promotion that suggests a potential collaboration.

Persona 5 is the most well-received and beloved game in the Persona series, so its characters have shown up in lots of team-ups with other games and franchises, both from Sega and beyond. The most famous example is Joker becoming a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but there have been many other collaborations over the last ten years.

Okay, so this is wild! It looks like Joker from Persona 5 might be coming to Fitness Boxing! The official Fitness Boxing account dropped a pretty big hint on Twitter, and everyone’s guessing it’ll either be a DLC pack or a whole new game. I’m seriously hoping it’s real – imagine boxing to Persona 5 music! I definitely didn’t expect this crossover, but I’m here for it!

Persona x Fitness Boxing Crossover Teased

The post features text styled like the instant messaging interface from the Persona 5 game, hinting at a new training mode involving two players. Because it comes from the official Fitness Boxing social media account, it’s likely a real collaboration that will be revealed as part of the Persona series’ 30th-anniversary celebration.

The recent hints likely point to a full-fledged crossover game combining the Persona and Fitness Boxing series. Fitness Boxing has collaborated with other franchises before – most notably, the action-packed manga series Fist of the North Star – so this wouldn’t be a completely unexpected pairing.
