EXCLUSIVE – The Axis Unseen First Look Gameplay

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for horror games that send shivers down my spine and leave me on the edge of my seat, I can’t help but be intrigued by The Axis Unseen. The teaser gameplay we’ve seen is nothing short of terrifying, with creatures that seem to leap out at you from the corners of your vision and monstrosities with teeth for eyes.

On October 22, The Axis Unseen officially debuts for PC play through both Steam and the Epic Games Store. Luckily, we at TopMob have been granted early access to reveal some unseen gameplay footage exclusively!

The gameplay we discussed is based on our interview with Nate Purkeypile, the creator of Axis Unseen. In this game, a significant portion takes place within “The Darkness,” which is a part of the game approximately halfway through. This region introduces some distinct monsters, one of which can only be glimpsed from the player’s peripheral vision. Moreover, it’s incredibly unsettling due to its unique feature – it has teeth for eyes.

About The Axis Unseen

The Axis Unseen is described as a horror game set in heavy metal genres. In this game, you’ll track down terrifying monsters from ancient folklore within an enigmatic open world. Along your journey, gather their heightened abilities and uncover elemental arrows. Remember, while you hunt, you are also being hunted.

Additionally, a unique heavy metal soundtrack was created by Clifford Meyer, who is known for being in the post-metal bands Red Sparowes and ISIS.

Unique Arrow Types – Your bow and arrow keeps you alive. Upgrade your bow or even find different arrow types such as fire, wind controlling or time distorting arrows. Experiment to see all of the different ways the arrows can interact with each other, such as wind arrows making the fire spread faster.
Improve your senses – Upgrade your senses with the powers of the creatures. See scent particles. Feel the warmth left behind on their tracks. See colors that no human has ever seen.
Uncover the secrets of the hunters – Find out what happened to the hunters who came before you and what secrets they uncovered by inspecting their journals and drawings. Where did this world come from? How do you stop the creatures from escaping into your world?
