I’m a huge fan of Solo Leveling, and it’s amazing to see how popular it’s become worldwide! The anime was a massive hit, and everyone’s been craving more of Sung Jinwoo. Unfortunately, we’re not getting any new Jinwoo content right now, but there is good news! His son, Sung Suho, is taking center stage in Solo Leveling Ragnarok, and it’s finally coming to North America. Yen Press just announced that Solo Leveling Ragnarok Volume 1 will be released in English in summer 2026, and honestly, if you loved the original, you absolutely need to check this out – it’s the perfect continuation of that incredible world!
Solo Leveling: Ragnarok Manhwa Volume 1 Is Finally Getting an English Release
Release Date Set For July 21, 2026
Most people who enjoy Solo Leveling are familiar with the story of Sung Jinwoo, which makes sense since the anime has only shown his part of the story so far. While the anime is still ongoing, Jinwoo’s story actually finished years ago in both the original web novel (2018) and the Manhwa adaptation (2021). Because fans wanted more after finishing Jinwoo’s journey, a continuation called Solo-Leveling: Ragnarok was created.
The series began in 2023, and its adaptation as a Manhwa started in 2024. While the previous series, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, wasn’t officially printed in English until recently, that’s now changing. Yen Press is releasing the first volume of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok in English in North America, and fans are eagerly anticipating its arrival. Volume 1 will be available for purchase on July 21, 2026.
Currently, only the first volume is planned for release, but if it does well, Yen Press will likely publish the rest. Fans will finally be able to buy a physical copy of this popular manhwa in July, after previously only being able to read it online, and this will happen even if an anime isn’t made.
What Other Solo Leveling Projects Are Coming In 2026?
2026 might not bring a new anime for Solo Leveling fans, but there’s still plenty to look forward to. The Solo Leveling: Ragnarok manhwa is continuing, despite a recent pause due to the artist’s military service. A new artist has been found, and Season 3 of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok should be back by mid-to-late 2026. While an exact release date hasn’t been announced, the break is expected to be short.

A new video game based on Solo Leveling, called Solo Leveling: Karma, is in development. It’s currently scheduled to release sometime in the second half of 2026, with a specific date to be announced soon.
