The finale of the Granolah arc in Dragon Ball Super was surprisingly unexpected. Just when the heroes began to gain the upper hand against Gas, Frieza returned with a powerful new form that was even more intimidating than before.
Black Frieza immediately became the strongest form we’ve ever seen in Dragon Ball, easily defeating both Ultra Instinct Goku and Ultra Ego Vegeta with just one blow. But a few characters still have a chance against him, so let’s explore who those might be.
Vegito Is The Ultimate Warrior Born From Fusion

Vegito, created when Goku and Vegeta fuse, is often considered the strongest warrior in the Dragon Ball universe. The fusion doesn’t just combine their power levels – a special phenomenon called the ‘Rival Boost’ actually increases that combined strength, making Vegito one of the most powerful beings across all realities.
During the Goku Black story arc, Vegito achieved Super Saiyan Blue, dramatically increasing his already incredible power. This allowed him to fight on equal footing with a god-like being. Many fans think Vegito could defeat Black Frieza, especially if he has access to either Goku or Vegeta’s special divine abilities. The main issue is the limited time of the Potara fusion, but in terms of raw power, Vegito is probably stronger than Black Frieza.
Gogeta Is The Most Stable Fusion Of Them All

Just like Vegito, Gogeta has a strong chance of winning against Black Frieza. Both are the result of Goku and Vegeta fusing together, creating an incredibly powerful warrior. And similar to Vegito, Gogeta doesn’t just combine their power – he amplifies it even further, proving his immense strength.
Unlike Vegito, Gogeta’s fusion isn’t limited by how much power he uses – it always lasts for 30 minutes. This means Black Frieza likely won’t be able to defeat him. Currently, Gogeta may even be strong enough to use both Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego at the same time, potentially making him more powerful than even the Destroyer Gods.
Beerus Is Still Too Much For Black Frieza To Handle
The Strongest Destroyer
Gods of Destruction are incredibly powerful beings in the Dragon Ball universe, and some fans think Frieza’s recent fight with Goku and Vegeta proves he’s reached their level. While it’s possible Frieza, in his Black form, could be as strong as some of the weaker Gods of Destruction, he doesn’t stand a chance against Beerus.
Beerus is now firmly established as the strongest Destroyer in the entire multiverse. He can effortlessly withstand attacks from multiple other Destroyers at once. Beyond that, he possesses a degree of Ultra Instinct and can obliterate planets with very little effort, making him arguably the most complete fighter in the series.

Within the Dragon Ball universe, Angels are the strongest and most skilled fighters. They’re so powerful that each one is responsible for overseeing an entire universe, along with its God of Destruction. They take care of the Gods’ needs and even train them, especially in the advanced technique of Ultra Instinct – a skill the Angels have completely mastered.
Throughout the series, Whis has consistently demonstrated incredible power. He’s effortlessly knocked out Beerus with one hit, stopped a planet-destroying attack with a single finger, and even reacted to Gogeta’s Instant Transmission—a move that travels at the speed of light—to avoid it. Black Frieza simply doesn’t have the ability to counter such feats.
Grand Zeno’s Strength Is Beyond Anything Imaginable

Even though each universe in Dragon Ball Super has its own unique rules and generally operates on its own, they all ultimately answer to Grand Zeno, who sits at the top of the divine order. Despite appearing harmless, Zeno is the most powerful being in the series and possesses an incredibly frightening ability.
He’s incredibly powerful, essentially a god capable of destroying entire universes and timelines with a simple movement. It doesn’t even seem to require any effort, meaning someone like Black Frieza would appear insignificant to him – like an ant to a human.
