How to Complete Rehabilitation Therapy Quest in Heartopia

The Winter Frost season is currently happening in Heartopia and will finish on March 14, 2026. It’s packed with fun activities for players, and the Collector’s Challenge is proving to be particularly popular and rewarding.

Whether you enjoy relaxing hobbies like nature walks or cozy activities like winter cooking, this event combines them all into a rewarding experience. If you’re hoping to earn Fashionwave Tokens, snag unique winter items, and simply enjoy finishing a challenge, this guide will help you complete the Collector’s Challenge in Heartopia without getting stressed.

Heartopia Collector’s Challenge, Explained

The Collector’s Challenge is a special winter event where you gather certain seasonal items and place them in a Collection Box near your house. Instead of completing separate tasks, the goal is to consistently add the requested items to the box until you reach 100% completion overall.

As you submit each item, you’ll see the progress bar fill up, and you’ll earn rewards when you reach certain points. These rewards include Fashionwave Tokens and a special winter accessory you can’t get anywhere else.

Your progress in the Collector’s Challenge always adds up – you won’t lose anything! Even submitting just one item gets you started and unlocks your first reward.

How to Complete the Collector’s Challenge in Heartopia

To join the Collector’s Challenge, begin by clicking on the Material Collection Box in front of your house. This will show you a list of the items you need to gather. You can submit materials from your inventory whenever you like, and you don’t have to collect everything in one day.

When a collection box is full, a green check mark will appear above it, letting you know you’ve successfully completed the challenge and can claim your rewards in the Fashion Activity tab.

Okay, so to finish the Collector’s Challenge, I need to hand in a few things to the Collection Box before March 14th. Basically, here’s what they want me to submit…

  • Frostspore Butterflies
  • Frostspore Fish
  • Winter Cooked Dishes
  • Winter Birds (their Info Cards)
  • White Radish
  • Highland Poppies

You don’t have to limit your contributions to your own collection box. You can also add items to boxes belonging to your friends or neighbors – a perfect way to use up extra resources if you’re a dedicated farmer. While there aren’t any special rewards for helping others, it’s a kind gesture!

Where to Catch Frostspore Butterflies

Frostspore Butterflies aren’t found just anywhere in the game; they only appear during a special seasonal event. To catch them, you’ll need to head to the Frostspore Butterfly Event near Deer Tower in the Forest. Once the event is running, you’ll find a lot more butterflies, making it much easier to gather enough for the Collector’s Challenge.

At the time of writing, you can find five different Frostspore Butterflies in Heartopia:

  • Frostspore Mother-of-Pearl
  • Frostspore Purple Spotted Swallowtail
  • Frostspore Queen Alexandra’s Birdwing
  • Frostspore Sulkowsky’s Morpho
  • Frostspore Postman Butterfly

Because butterflies appear often during the event, you can collect enough of them in just one playing session if you concentrate.

Where to Catch Frostspore Fish

Okay, so Frostspore Fish are a bit different than regular fish. You can’t just casually fish them up! There’s actually a special event you need to look out for. It happens north of Crater Lake, up in the Onsen Mountain area. When the Frostspore Fish Event is active, they start showing up way more often, making it much easier to catch a bunch!

At the time of writing, you can find five different Frostspore Fish species in Heartopia:

  • Frostspore King Crab
  • Frostspore Ocean Fish
  • Frostspore Puffer Fish
  • Frostspore Seahorse
  • Frostspore Whale Shark

You can only find and catch a Frostspore Whale Shark during the Lucky phase of Frostspore Fish events. Before you can catch one, you’ll need to unlock it by finishing a specific quest given by Vanya.

Where to Catch Winter Birds

Besides butterflies and fish, Heartopia is also home to special winter birds, and they’re the easiest event creatures to find. If you want to collect info cards for all of them, be sure to join the Winter Birdwatching Event, which is held by Suburban Lake.

Throughout the event, you can reliably see and photograph winter birds like the Smew and Mallard. These birds are most often found around Suburban Lake and Forest Lake.

At the time of writing, you can find five different Winter Birds in Heartopia:

  • Winter Mallard
  • Winter Greater Flamingo
  • Winter Smew
  • Winter Eurasian Wigeon
  • Winter Mandarin Duck

How to Cook Winter Foods

To complete the Collector’s Challenge, you’ll also need to make winter-themed cooked foods. You prepare these dishes using the penguin stove. First, buy the ingredients you need from Massimo. Then, go to the penguin stove and cook the recipes, like Blueberry Frosted Pancakes or Iced Cup Coffee.

Where to Get White Radish

White Radish is a plant you need to grow yourself, you can’t find it naturally. You can buy the seeds from Blanc and plant them in your garden. Because growing takes time, it’s best to start White Radish early in the event so you don’t have to wait for it later. Remember to water your plants every day and check on their progress!

If you can’t find White Radish seeds at the store, you need to finish the Fashionwave quests. After completing all the quests from the NPCs, the seeds will become available at the Gardening Store.

Where to Get Highland Poppies

To buy Highland Poppies, you first need to reach Gardening Level 3. This unlocks all flowers at the gardening store. Once you’ve reached Level 3, you’ll be able to find Highland Poppy Seeds at Blanc’s Gardening Store. Keep in mind that it takes a full day in the game for a Highland Poppy to fully grow.

These flowers only bloom in winter and won’t be available after the season is over, making them worth planting even if you’ve already ordered enough.
