Pokemon GO Reveals Community Day Pokemon for March 2026

Pokémon GO has announced that Scorbunny will be featured as the Community Day Pokémon on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Players will find Scorbunny appearing much more often in the game that day, and there will also be special rewards and research tasks available for a limited time.

If you’re unfamiliar, Pokémon GO Community Days are monthly events happening around the world. During these events, one particular Pokémon is much easier to find and catch for a limited time. If you catch or evolve that Pokémon during the event, it can learn a special move. Players also receive unique bonuses that change each month, like earning more experience points or having a better chance of finding a rare, shiny Pokémon. Pokémon GO started hosting Community Days on January 18, 2018, and has continued them consistently, even throughout the pandemic.

Pokemon GO Reveals Scorbunny as its March Community Day Pokemon

Scorbunny is the featured Pokémon for Community Day on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 2pm to 5pm local time. During these hours, you’ll find Scorbunny appearing much more often in the wild, along with a better chance of finding Shiny Scorbunny and Scorbunny with unique backgrounds. Plus, from 2pm to 9pm on March 14th, using a Lure Module at any PokéStop will attract even more Scorbunny of all types.

On March 14th’s Pokemon GO Community Day, and for four hours afterward, players can earn a Pokemon with a unique move. If you evolve a Raboot during this time, your Cinderace will learn the Charged Attack Blast Burn. Starting with the event, players will also be able to teach their Cinderace a new Charged Attack called Pyro Ball. Pyro Ball will have a power of 75 in Trainer battles and 150 in Gym battles and Raids, as announced by the event organizers.

Pokemon GO’s March Community Day Rewards Explained

For players who want an expanded experience during the March Pokémon GO Community Day, a Special Research ticket will be available for $1.99. This ticket unlocks a series of Community Day quests. If you complete these quests, you’re guaranteed to encounter three Scorbunny with a special background, receive a Premium Battle Pass, and earn one Rare Candy XL. Even without the ticket, players can still complete themed Field Research quests to earn rewards like Ultraballs, Stardust, and other useful items.

The next Pokémon GO Community Day will include special bonuses for all players, such as:

  • 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event period.
  • 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
  • 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
  • Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
  • Lure Modules will last for one hour and may attract the featured Pokémon.
  • One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day.
  • Trades will require 50% less Stardust.

One of the best parts of Pokémon GO Community Days is the chance to play with others. These events are made for players to get together in popular spots and share their love of the game. To help with this, Pokémon GO has created a map showing locations where players have often met up in the past. Local Community Ambassadors, who work with the game developers, will also add information about any bigger events happening nearby.
