Crimson Desert is a highly anticipated video game set to release in 2026, and excitement is building as the release date approaches. The game also features a talented voice cast, including actors who have worked on popular titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and Stellar Blade.

Crimson Desert is a large, open-world adventure game similar to Red Dead Redemption 2 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Because players will spend a significant amount of time with the characters, a compelling story and well-developed personalities are essential to the game’s success. The characters are truly at the heart of the experience.

Hey everyone, I’m really excited about Crimson Desert and I just found the complete list of voice actors who worked on it! They even included info on some of the other awesome games these actors have been in, which is a cool little bonus.

Pearl Abyss announced the English voice actors for six characters in Crimson Desert, featuring the three main leads: Kliff Macduff, Damiane, and Oongka.

It’s clear that the main actors in Crimson Desert are often veterans of popular European fantasy role-playing games, having appeared in titles like Dragon Age and Castlevania.

Alec Newman, known recently for his role as Adam Smasher in Cyberpunk 2077, also provides the voice for the main character, Kilff. He voiced other characters in the game as well, including Arthur Jenkins and Anders Hellman.

Although Newman has acted in many roles, including characters in the popular game Cyberpunk 2077, his longest-running role so far is Kliff in Crimson Desert. In a recent conversation with Epic Games, the Scottish actor shared how he developed the character. He explained, “I’ve been playing Kliff longer than any other role, and it’s been amazing to see the character evolve.”

During the interview, Newman explained that he used his Scottish roots to develop Kliff’s character. He also based Kliff’s voice and behavior on his late wife’s stepfather, Graham Fleck, who sadly passed away in 2022 after Newman had already been cast in the role.

Rebecca Hanssen, who voices the powerful and confident character Damiane in Crimson Desert, is also well-known for her role as Eve in Stellar Blade.

Fans of Stellar Blade are excited – but not shocked – to discover that a Scottish actor based in London is voicing the character Damiane, given that both Stellar Blade and the previous game were created by South Korean developers. Unlike her previous role as Eve, Damiane allowed the actor to showcase a different personality, which she describes as a deeply rewarding experience, as she could tap into her own strong sense of justice.

Crimson Desert is generating a lot of positive buzz, and everything we’ve seen so far is incredibly promising. The good news is, you won’t have to wait much longer to play it – it’s launching on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on March 19, 2026.
