Sony has announced the free games coming to PlayStation Plus for subscribers on the Essential tier. This month, they’re offering four games at no extra cost – a slight increase from the usual three. February and March also included an extra free game, making this a continued benefit for PS Plus Essential members.
Starting March 3th and running through April 6th, new games will be added to the PS Plus library. If you want to keep the February 2026 PS Plus free games – Undisputed, Subnautica: Below Zero, Ultros, and Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown – you need to claim them by March 2nd. These new titles, like the previous ones, include a sports game as a featured pick.
I’m so excited for PGA Tour 2K25! From what Billbil-kun shared, it looks like it’s going to be the big focus for 2K this year. It sounds a lot like the other 2K sports games I love – you can play through the PGA Tour, build your golfer in MyCareer, and compete online with friends on any platform. Plus, it seems like they’re really letting you customize everything, from your player’s skills to the courses themselves. They’ve upgraded the skill trees and added even more tools to design your dream golf experience!

The PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalogs are expanding with several new additions, including Monster Hunter Rise, Slime Rancher 2, and The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road. The addition of Monster Hunter Rise follows the recent inclusion of the Monster Hunter Stories games, and all these updates likely anticipate the March release of Monster Hunter Stories 3. Monster Hunter Rise offers a fresh narrative rooted in Japanese folklore while retaining the core Monster Hunter experience of hunting monsters, collecting resources, and crafting powerful gear – making now a great time to try it out. Meanwhile, Slime Rancher 2 lets players step into the shoes of Beatrix LeBeau as she establishes a slime ranch on the vibrant Rainbow Island, building a conservatory to house her unique creations.
The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road unlocks all the major story areas and locations from across the game, including places like Morrowind and Skyrim. This popular online multiplayer game is a great addition to the service. All three games are playable on PS5, but only The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road and Monster Hunter Rise are also available on PS4.

March 3 and Beyond for PS Plus
PlayStation Plus Essential members (and those with higher-tier subscriptions) can start playing these games on March 3rd. The selection offers a good mix of titles, aiming to appeal to a wide range of players. Plus, more games are coming to the PS Plus Extra tier in March, though Sony hasn’t announced what those will be yet. Based on past releases, fans have a good idea of when to expect that announcement.

Then, around March 11th, Sony will announce the new games coming to PS Plus Extra – which, honestly, has been the best value tier lately, consistently giving us a ton of really good games. They’ve also said Tekken: Dark Resurrection (from the PSP!) is coming to PS Plus Premium in March, and we’ll hear more about that on the 11th too. After that, it’s anyone’s guess what else they’ll add!
