In the series Solo Leveling, Sung Jinwoo isn’t the only exceptionally powerful hunter. Cha Hae-In is also incredibly strong, surpassing many S-rank hunters both in Korea and Japan. She’s earned the title of the strongest female hunter by consistently winning battles on her own.
Cha Hae-In is one of the most dangerous hunters in Solo Leveling, known for her beautiful but deadly fighting style. She combines the precision of kendo with the harsh realities of combat, making her a formidable opponent. Even the most powerful hunters would be cautious facing her, as she has the skill to win.

The difference in strength between Lee Joo-Hee and Cha Hae-In in Solo Leveling is clear. Lee Joo-Hee is a B-rank hunter who excels at support rather than direct fighting. She’s more effective at boosting her allies with status effects, healing them, and providing strategic help.
Lee Joo-Hee simply isn’t as brave as Cha Hae-In. In a fight, Cha Hae-In would win quickly, even without a weapon.
Yoo Soo-Hyun
Yoo Soo Hyun has retired from hunting, but she’s still known as one of the most dangerous sharpshooters in Korea. Details on the official Solo Leveling Arise website reveal she was an incredibly skilled A-rank hunter, famous for her accuracy and deadly use of firearms.
Cha Hae-In is significantly more skilled than Yoo Soo-Hyun. She’s not only higher ranked, but also a much more dangerous fighter thanks to her greater experience and overall abilities.
Kanae Tawata
I’ve heard that getting into Japan’s most powerful guild, Draw Sword, isn’t easy. You basically need to be S-rank, and not just any S-rank – you have to be at least as strong as Kanae Tawata. She’s a top-tier hunter, one of the best in the country. Even Goto Ryuji, who’s number one, recognizes how valuable she’d be to his guild, which says a lot about her strength.
Even though Kanae and Cha Hae-In have the same hunter rank, Cha Hae-In is the stronger fighter. She’s faster, hits harder, and is much more skilled in close combat – this was clear when they fought each other during the practice match between Japan and Korea’s top hunters. Kanae losing to Cha Hae-In is understandable, as Cha Hae-In’s speed doesn’t give opponents much chance to respond.
Lim Tae-Gyu
Lim Tae Gyu is Korea’s top sniper, skilled at eliminating targets from extreme distances – often hundreds of meters away. He’s known for his composure and precision, able to take down enemies quickly and accurately, before they even know they’re being targeted.
Lim Tae Gyu is at a significant disadvantage against Cha Hae-In. She’s much better suited to quickly get close to him before he has a chance to use his arrows. Furthermore, Cha Hae-In’s enhanced senses allow her to easily locate him and take him by surprise.

Baek Yoon-Ho
It’s easy to see why people think Baek Yoon-Ho of the White Tiger Guild is more powerful than Cha Hae-In. He’s incredibly imposing, physically strong, and fights very aggressively, making him seem like he could easily defeat the more graceful Cha Hae-In.
Despite appearances, Cha Hae-In is the more powerful hunter, even compared to Baek Yoon-Ho. Other top-level hunters find her a more challenging opponent, thanks to her superior combat skills. This is true even though Baek Yoon-Ho developed his abilities earlier than she did – Cha Hae-In has still surpassed him.
Atsushi Kumamoto
Atsushi Kumamoto is a highly skilled Japanese hunter, considered one of the strongest. When he enters a furious rage, he becomes a powerful, almost unstoppable force, capable of fighting evenly with someone like Cha Hae-In. Other hunters believe he’s strong enough to conquer a B-rank dungeon on his own.
Even with his enhanced strength, Atsushi Kumamoto would still have a tough fight against Cha Hae-In. In his normal state, Atsushi was too slow to even defend against Cha Hae-In’s incredibly fast and accurate punches – he took fourteen direct hits to the face, each one delivered with instinctive precision.
Choi Jong-In
Choi Jong-In leads the Hunters Guild, making him Cha Hae-In’s boss, which is typical for S-rank hunters. However, being his second-in-command doesn’t mean Cha Hae-In is less capable, and she could even win in a one-on-one fight.
In a one-on-one fight, Cha Hae-In would likely win against Choi Jong-In. Her abilities are better geared towards individual combat, while his strengths lie in managing battles with many opponents or across a wider area.
Igris
Sung Jinwoo’s powerful shadows, particularly those with high ranks, can become stronger as he does. Igris, Jinwoo’s first truly strong shadow, has already improved since first being summoned. However, even with this growth, Igris isn’t quite strong enough to defeat Cha Hae-In when they fight one-on-one in the story arc involving the Ahjin Guild.
It was even more shocking because Igris was considered the better swordsman, but Cha Hae-In defeated him easily using a practice sword she found at the Hunter Association. What made it even more unbelievable was that Igris was fighting with Jinwoo’s incredibly powerful Demon King’s Longsword and still lost to her.
