The ‘Naughty’s Treasure Hunt’ quest in Gossip can be challenging, especially when you need to find a Trekking Pole. Many players get stuck because the hint isn’t very helpful, often leading to aimless searching. If you’re having trouble locating the Trekking Pole, this guide will point you in the right direction.

How to Start the Gossip Treasure Hunt Quest in Heartopia

Okay, so I just found out how to start Naughty’s Treasure Hunt! You don’t have to worry about finishing any specific thing first, or waiting for a certain day. The main thing is you need to be at least D.G. level 11. Apparently, the quests to kick it off won’t even show up until you hit that level!

Once you reach level 11 as a Delivery Guild member, get into the habit of checking your delivery requests. The quest starts when you receive a random request asking you to deliver items to Naughty. Keep in mind that because it’s random, it might take a while to appear.

After you agree to the request, provide Naughty with the items he needs. Then, speak with Cassie, who will inform you that Naughty stole her equipment. If you find Naughty and question him, he’ll confess to breaking Cassie’s trekking pole, though he claims it was an accident.

But get this – it doesn’t end there! Apparently, he actually had a spare pole the whole time. The crazy part is, he was playing some kind of treasure hunt game with a backpacker, and they buried the spare pole somewhere. Now, neither of them can remember where they buried it! Can you believe it?

Naughty needs a metal detector, so Albert Jr. is the one to ask. Talk to him, and he’ll lend it to you if you first sell him something valuable from your belongings. Once you’ve made the trade, speak to Albert Jr. again. He’ll let you know he’s sent the metal detector to Naughty, meaning you need to return to Naughty to continue.

How to Find the Trekking Pole in Heartopia

So, I talked to Naughty again, and he asked for my help finding his Trekking Pole. He thinks it might be somewhere around Fisher’s Wharf or the Flower Field. Then he told me he was heading to Fisher’s Wharf, and that was a big hint! It meant I should actually look for the pole in the Flower Field. Got it!

A lot of players get stuck trying to find the trekking pole on the ground, but you don’t actually need to search! Just go talk to Vernie, the ranger in the Flower Field, and ask her about it. She’ll tell you she found the pole while gardening and put it in a safe place to protect the flowers.
