Camera Lenses are a fairly rare recycling material in ARC Raiders. You’ll often find them in Security areas on maps, and you can sell each one for 640 Coins.
Recycling these items will give you 8 Plastic Parts, which isn’t a huge amount, but it’s a worthwhile trade considering how often you need Plastic. Below, you’ll find a guide with all the locations for Camera Lenses in ARC Raiders, along with a recommended route for efficiently collecting them.
Where to Find Camera Lens in ARC Raiders
As a fan, I’ve learned the Camera Lens is a tough one to find! You can’t buy it from any of the vendors and you can’t craft or recycle it to get one. The game hints it’s usually in Security areas, so that’s where I’ve been focusing my searches. Luckily, if you need a Lens for something like building the Weather Monitor System, the game actually helps you out! It’ll put a little eye icon on the item whenever you find it, so you don’t accidentally overlook it. It’s a nice feature for those of us trying to complete projects!
The Hydroponic Dome Complex is a large area in Dam Battlegrounds with several glass domes containing valuable loot. Your goal here is to search every dome thoroughly for metal crates, lockers, drawers, and shelves. The Camera Lens can drop from any container in this area, so open everything you can. Even if a container looks like it’s already been searched, it’s worth checking – many players don’t need Camera Lenses, and since they aren’t very valuable, they may have left one behind.
While a free starting kit doesn’t automatically give you a safe place to store your Camera Lens, the benefit is that if you start too far from the Dome, you can easily restart and try for a better position.
The Dome Complex is very open, so keep an eye on the sky as you travel between domes. Watch out for Rocketeers and Fireflies – they can be a nuisance!
