How to Open the Isolation Ward in RE9

After you get the first ID Wristband, you’ll be able to open some new doors in the East and West Wings of the Care Center. But eventually, you’ll need the upgraded ID Wristband (Level 2) to continue exploring and ultimately escape. So, let’s find out where to get it!

This guide will help you quickly get the Level 2 Wristband in Resident Evil Requiem, saving you from aimless wandering, zombie bites, and wasted ammo. Once you have it, you’ll be able to access the Isolation Ward – but be warned, it’s a terrifying place!

How to Get the ID Wristband Level 2 in Resident Evil 9

To get the Security Card Level 2 for the Care Center, you’ll need to solve the puzzle with the corpse in the Examination Room. When you enter, you’ll see a glowing wristband on the corpse, meaning you need to revive it to get the card. You’ll need to find both the Artificial Heart and the Artificial Lungs to do this – check out our separate guides for those, as finding them might require going back to previous areas.

After you’ve retrieved the Artificial Heart from the Cold Storage Room and the Artificial Lungs from the Organ Transport Box in the Garage (using the Level 1 Keycard, both located in the West Wing), you can go back to the Examination Room and insert them into the body.

Once the organs are implanted, the body will reanimate and attack. Use your weapons to defeat the zombie, and when it’s down, collect the ID Wristband (Level 2). This wristband will then grant you access to the Isolation Ward located on the ground floor of the East Wing.
