Strategy’s Bitcoin Holdings Top 720,000 BTC

Well, well, well, it seems like Strategy Inc. has gone and done it again, achieving yet another monumental milestone in the world of cryptocurrencies. Yes, you guessed it-the company’s Bitcoin treasury has now surged past the 720,000 mark, like a marathon runner crossing the finish line while everyone else is still tying their shoes. And how, you ask? By acquiring another 3,015 BTC during the last week of February, of course, as revealed in their Form 8-K filing with the SEC. A whole 3,015! That’s like buying a mansion with pocket change!

Undisputed Bitcoin Treasury Leader

The timing of this buying spree could not have been more poetic-taking place from February 23 to March 1, 2026. Truly, what a week it must have been in the world of corporate espionage and digital gold hoarding!

And just in case you were wondering, Strategy’s average execution price is $67,700 per Bitcoin, which is a steal-unless, of course, you’re the one buying it. The company has now amassed a jaw-dropping 720,737 BTC, costing them a mere $54.77 billion. Simple math, right? That’s only about $75,985 per coin on average. Not too shabby, considering you’re dealing with the volatile world of crypto.

But wait, there’s more! To fund this extravagant acquisition spree, Strategy didn’t just raid their couch cushions; no, they tapped into their at-the-market (ATM) equity offering program. Sounds fancy, doesn’t it? In fact, they raised a cool $237.1 million by issuing new equity. How did they do it? Simple-by selling 1,730,563 shares of their Class A Common Stock (MSTR), pocketing a neat $229.9 million. Oh, and let’s not forget the $7.1 million they raised through the sale of 71,590 shares of their Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock (STRC). Truly, a masterclass in “making money work for you.”

And because they’re just too generous, Strategy also decided to throw in an update for their preferred stock shareholders. Starting March 1, 2026, the company increased the regular annual dividend rate on their STRC shares from 11.25% to a delicious 11.50%. Because who doesn’t love a little extra return on their investment, right?
