Get ready for a remastered version of the beloved 1998 shooter, SiN, officially releasing in 2026! Fans of the classic Ritual Entertainment game have been waiting a long time for this.
When it first came out, SiN really stood out thanks to its great graphics and interactive environments, all powered by the Quake II engine. The game puts you in the role of Colonel John R. Blade, a security expert tasked with tracking down Dr. Elexis Sinclaire. She’s a scientist who’s created a drug that changes human DNA, resulting in an army of evil, genetically modified mutants.
SiN: Reloaded brings the classic first-person shooter SiN and its expansion, Wages of SiN, to modern systems with a complete visual update. It keeps the original gameplay intact while adding features fans will love, like high-definition textures and models, support for 4K resolution, smoother graphics thanks to anti-aliasing, a remastered soundtrack, and updated 2D menus.

This updated version doesn’t just look better; it also features a more modern user interface and controls, plus enhanced in-game maps. Players who prefer the original look can easily switch between the classic and remastered graphics, including the visuals from the SiN Gold edition. This level of attention to detail is typical of Nightdive Studios, a developer celebrated for reviving beloved classic games and making them available to a new generation of players.
We’re eagerly awaiting the return of Blade, who will hopefully save us from a fiery fate and allow us to experience the thrilling world of SiN again.
