Square Enix is partnering with Jollibee for a special crossover event in Final Fantasy 14. Fans in the US and Canada can look forward to themed merchandise and another chance to unlock the popular “Eat Chicken” emote. The promotion will last about a month.
Fans of Final Fantasy 14 can look forward to a special Jollibee collaboration launching soon, even as the game is already preparing for a major update. Patch 7.5, titled “Trail to the Heavens,” arrives on April 28th, bringing new story quests and the final part of the Echoes of Vana’diel raid series. However, not all of Patch 7.5’s content will be available at once; some features, like the new Beastmaster job, will be added in updates throughout the rest of 2026.
Final Fantasy 14 Players Should Make A Trip To Jollibee
The recent 7.5 update for Final Fantasy 14 wasn’t the only surprise from Square Enix. During a live broadcast, producer Naoki Yoshida announced a collaboration with Jollibee restaurants, but it’s only available to players in the US and Canada. From April 21st to May 31st, customers who order a special Final Fantasy 14 Box Meal or Six-Piece Bucket Bundle at participating Jollibee locations can submit their receipt to get a unique “Eat Chicken” emote in the game. The emote is also available by purchasing Final Fantasy 14 x Jollibee merchandise through Complex. Players will receive a code by email to redeem the emote on the Mog Station.
This isn’t the first time players have been able to get the hard-to-find Eat Chicken emote in Final Fantasy 14. It was previously available in fall 2023 through a special promotion with KFC Japan. That collaboration was limited to players in Japan, meaning only those with Japanese Final Fantasy 14 accounts could use the emote. Now, less than three years later, more players will have another chance to earn this rare item.
Final Fantasy 14 and Jollibee crossover items are limited in quantity, so they’re available only while supplies last. If you buy merchandise, we’ll need a valid US or Canadian shipping address. To get the special ‘Eat Chicken’ emote code, you must submit a qualifying receipt by November 30, 2026.
Final Fantasy 14 Is No Stranger To Crossovers
Final Fantasy 14 is known for its frequent collaborations with other games and popular series. Most recently, in October 2025, the game added a permanent event based on Monster Hunter Wilds, letting players battle the Guardian Arkveld in a special trial. Final Fantasy 14 has also featured limited-time crossover events with games like Fall Guys, Dragon Quest, and Yo-Kai Watch.

To get fans excited for the Anaheim FanFest, Final Fantasy 14 introduced some items inspired by Final Fantasy 7, like a Hardy-Daytona motorcycle mount and a Wind-up Red XIII minion. While many players think the next Final Fantasy 14 expansion might feature elements from Final Fantasy 7, Square Enix hasn’t revealed its plans for the FanFest convention yet.
