Safe Harbour Quest Guide in ARC Raiders

Whether it’s scorching desert sand or chilly, damp beach sand, ARC Raiders features a lot of it! After uncovering a hidden underground cache and solving a train mystery, you’re now heading back to the coast to continue your quest.

Okay, so the new Riven Tides update picks up right where the Flashpoint story left off. It’s seriously adding a ton of mystery and a bunch of new quests to the maps I already know. Basically, it’s my job to keep exploring and uncover all the secrets that are still hidden – and trust me, there are a lot of them!

The restaurant staff are acting strangely and keeping secrets, and I’m really curious about what a ‘precision gimbal’ even is. Time to investigate and find out!

Prerequisites

As I said before, you must finish the “Line in the Sand” quest before you begin this mission. That quest was added with the Flashpoint update and came after a previous one.

You need to finish this quest in one continuous attempt. If you fail while carrying the final item, you’ll have to start the entire quest over. Fortunately, it’s a fairly short quest with objectives located close to each other, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to complete without dying.

Pay attention to the air in Riven Tides! There’s a lot of flying ARC, including the powerful Vaporisers, which can quickly end your run if you’re not careful. It’s always smart to carry an Adrenaline Shot just in case.

Kitchen Clues

Okay, so to start this quest, you’ll want to go to Riven Tides. It’s easiest if you’re on a normal map – not one with any special rules going on. Then, just run all the way to the Hotel, it’s way out west on the map.

The restaurant is on the second-to-top floor – the one where the roof has collapsed. You can reach it by using the ziplines found all over the hotel.

Okay, so I went into the restaurant and found the kitchen. I needed to check out the back wall – there was a small drawing there. All I had to do was snap a picture of it to finish that part of the game.

Wimbledon, ARC Edition

If you checked the map before you left, you’ll easily see it points you to the tennis courts. They’re located a short distance south of the hotel.

When you get to the courts, find a bench that has a small sand hill behind it. There’s a small pile on top of that hill – dig there to find the Precision Gimbal. Once you have it, just safely return to Tian Wen to finish the quest!

It’s best to get out of the map quickly. The ARC Turbine usually appears later in the game, and its powerful lightning attacks can easily surprise and eliminate unprepared players.

For completing this quest, you’ll receive the following items:

  • 1x Surge Coil
  • 1x Heavy Gun Parts
  • 1x Horizontal Grip

The Surge Coil can help create some breathing room, keeping enemies like ARC raiders at a distance.

The Horizontal Grip is a versatile attachment for many automatic weapons, helping to control both upward and sideways recoil. It’s a really helpful addition!
