The Heartopia and Maltese collaboration introduces cute Maltese Puppies into the game. To get all the puppy rewards during this event, you’ll need to know where to find them and what food they like each day. Once you understand that, increasing your bond with them will be simple, and you’ll be able to collect all the limited ornaments before the event is over. Maltese Trough Location in Heartopia

You can find Maltese puppies on Truffle Island, accessible through the event page. They usually spend time in the forest area, and once you know where to look, they’re quite easy to find.

Okay, so the devs just made getting to the puppies SO much easier! They added a bus stop right nearby. Seriously, it’s a huge time saver if you’re like me and check on them every day. No more running all over the map – I can just fast travel and be there instantly!

You’ll see a feeding trough close by – that’s where you’ll mostly interact with these animals. If you’ve played Heartopia before and interacted with animals there, this system will seem quite similar.

Maltese Favourite Food in Heartopia

Spending time feeding your Maltese puppies is a great way to strengthen your connection with them. Luckily, they aren’t picky eaters! They really enjoy dog food, grilled mushrooms, and meat.

  • Dog food is the easiest option and probably the one you’ll use most often. You can buy it directly from the pet store in Central Square, so there’s no farming or crafting involved.
  • Grilled mushrooms are another good choice. You can make these yourself using mushrooms on a regular stove, which makes them a solid backup if you run out of dog food.
  • Meat is also one of their preferred foods. You can purchase it from Massimo.

Just a heads-up: the Maltese puppies won’t be around forever, so you have a limited time to make progress. Feeding them strengthens your connection, which unlocks special decorations for the event.
