Stephanie Nadolny, the original English voice actress for Kid Goku and Gohan in Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, began an 180-day jail sentence on January 1, 2026. She was convicted of property theft, a crime committed on June 3, 2025. Because of her prior history with driving while intoxicated (DWI), the charge was elevated from a misdemeanor to a felony, resulting in the jail time at Linda Woodman State Jail in Gatesville, Texas.

When news spread among Dragon Ball fans, a Twitter account using the name Stephanie Nadolny (@Stephvox) claimed the reports were inaccurate, implying she had already been released. However, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice’s website shows Stephanie Nadolny is still incarcerated at Linda Woodman State Jail, having been denied parole last month for reasons related to violations 1D, 3D, and 5D.

Stephanie Nadolny was denied parole at her hearing on April 28, 2026, and will complete her full 180-day sentence at Linda Woodman Jail. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice based its decision on her past criminal history, specifically reasons 1D, 3D, and 5D. Nadolny had previously been arrested for driving while intoxicated on five separate occasions: July 20, 2016, January 27, 2020, April 22, 2021, February 9, 2023, and November 7, 2024.
