Cryptocurrencies based on Donald Trump saw an increase in value after his son, Eric Trump, revealed the new logo for the Donald J. Trump International Airport in Palm Beach, Florida.
The values of three cryptocurrencies associated with Donald Trump increased recently. Trump (TRUMP) saw a 3.75% gain, MAGA (TRUMP) rose 3.29%, and TrumpCoin (DJT) increased by 1.1%. While the smallest increase, TrumpCoin’s value is most closely linked to plans to use the call letters ‘DJT’ for the airport.
Airport Logo Reveal Sparks Token Reaction
The president’s son shared a gold eagle emblem on X and thanked his father in the post.
“Looking forward to seeing flights landing at ‘DJT’ very very soon!” Eric Trump posted.
Starting July 1, 2026, Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) will have a new name, as determined by a law signed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in March.

A new law from the federal government is still needed before the airport code for West Palm Beach can be changed from PBI to DJT.
Around $5.5 million has been earmarked for new signage and rebranding work tied to the change.
Trademark filings linked to the Trump Organization were submitted ahead of the bill signing.
Trump Meme Coins Stay Far Below 2025 Peaks
The biggest surge in interest happened with TRUMP, a cryptocurrency called a ‘meme coin’ that Donald Trump publicly supported just three days before his expected inauguration in January 2025.
Despite having a market value exceeding $558 million, the token is currently trading 96% lower than its initial high of $73.43.
MAGA, a community token tied to the broader pro-Trump movement, posted similar gains.
TrumpCoin (DJT) is currently trading far below its peak value this year, with a market capitalization of around $647,000 and low trading activity.
Cryptocurrency tokens based on Donald Trump have previously changed in value based on his statements and recently, after a meeting he held with major token holders at Mar-a-Lago.
A potential shift in the political landscape might occur on July 1st, when the new airport name is officially implemented. This could lead to another significant test of the trading volume related to Donald Trump-themed assets.
