New Hyper Light Breaker trailer reveals “Breakers & Crowns”

The team behind Arc Games and Heart Machine has unveiled a fresh trailer along with additional information about their upcoming early access game titled Hyper Light Breaker.

One pleasant detail is that upon purchasing the “Hyper Light Bundle” from Steam at the time of Breaker’s release, you will receive a complimentary access code for the precursor game, Hyper Light Drifter, as well.

Check out this freshly unveiled trailer showcasing the ‘breakers’ and ‘crowns’, which are now available in the initial pre-release version of our game!


 

After a succession of brief “Breaker Reveal Trailers” highlighting each playable character, called Breakers, a comprehensive trailer has been unveiled, showcasing all the Breakers players can select upon the game’s Early Access launch, as well as the bosses, or Crowns, they will encounter during gameplay. Players joining at the Early Access debut will discover three distinctive Breakers (Vermillion, Lapis, and Goro) to pick from, along with two formidable Crowns (Dro and Exus) to conquer.

Standout feature: Each Breaker character will uncover unique Sycoms (small robot sidekicks, resembling those from Hyper Light Drifter), acting as the base for a Breaker’s setup and granting special bonuses and stat adjustments. However, players have the liberty to tailor their loadout individually for each Breaker. Regardless of the chosen loadout, except for Crowns, Dro, and Exus, they are ready to engage in combat.

The Hyper Light Package will cost £24.99 and will be accessible from January 14th to the 28th. Heart Machine explains: “Purchasers of the package will get a chance to enjoy the cherished 2D action RPG, Hyper Light Drifter, and delve deeper into the Hyper Light universe by experiencing Breaker, an open-world rogue-lite set in the time period preceding the events of Drifter!

Hyper Light Breaker is coming to PC early access via Steam on January 14th.
