The Reverse Cursed Technique is incredibly challenging to learn in Jujutsu Kaisen. Unlike typical jujutsu, which uses negative cursed energy, this technique requires harnessing positive energy. It’s so difficult that very few characters in Jujutsu Kaisen have successfully mastered and can consistently use it, even those with natural talent.
In Jujutsu Kaisen, some characters can use a special ability called Reverse Cursed Technique. The most powerful users of this technique aren’t just able to heal quickly, but also skillfully use it during battles. Here’s a look at the strongest characters who can wield Reverse Cursed Technique.
Uraume
Many fans haven’t fully realized how skilled Uraume is with the Reverse Cursed Technique in Jujutsu Kaisen. Being Ryomen Sukuna’s closest ally, Uraume is far more powerful than most sorcerers, so it makes sense they’re also incredibly proficient with this difficult technique.
Uraume impressively recovered from a devastating attack by Satoru Gojo, and then continued fighting Kinji Hakari while simultaneously healing injuries. She even managed to repair damage to her hand caused by Choso’s attack, though she couldn’t counteract the poison it inflicted.
Yuki Tsukumo
Yuki Tsukumo’s skillful use of the Reverse Cursed Technique right before her death in Jujutsu Kaisen is also incredibly impressive. As fans will recall, she was a powerful, special grade sorcerer known for a cursed technique that essentially made her a human black hole.
During her battle with Kenjaku, Yuki Tsukumo used the Reverse Cursed Technique to withstand his powerful attacks within his Domain Expansion. Even though her body suffered severe crushing injuries, she continued to fight as bravely as she could.
Yuji Itadori
Yuji Itadori is currently less skilled with the Reverse Cursed Technique than many other characters. However, he’s a quick learner and has demonstrated a remarkable ability to improve, particularly when fighting Sukuna. He used the technique’s healing properties to survive that difficult battle.
Yuji Itadori is remarkably resilient and recovers quickly, partly due to his natural abilities. However, when he uses the Reverse Cursed Technique, his healing abilities are truly exceptional – some of the best seen in the entire series.

Dabura Karaba
The series Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo introduces Dabura Karaba, a naturally talented user of the Reverse Cursed Technique. Many fans have nicknamed him “Sukuna’s replacement” in the new story. He’s a quick study, demonstrated by his ability to heal a leg injury during a battle with the Divine General Mahoraga – he figured out how to use the Reverse Cursed Technique all on his own.
Dabura also discovered a way to use positive energy with his Cursed Technique, letting him reverse its effects and create a powerful mass of darkness. As Deskunte’s strongest warrior and the most powerful Simurian, he’s one of the strongest characters in JJK Modulo, capable of challenging even Gojo, Sukuna, and Yuji Itadori.
Yuta Okkotsu
Yuta Okkotsu, similar to Sukuna, is incredibly skilled at using the Reverse Cursed Technique. While Gojo Satoru excels in power, Yuta can also heal others, which makes him a vital teammate in battle. His natural ability to generate positive energy, combined with the presence of Rika, helps him keep both himself and his allies going for extended periods.
Yuta demonstrated the incredible power of his Reverse Cursed Technique (RCT) even before the Culling Game. He famously ‘killed’ Yuji Itadori, then instantly revived him with RCT after Yuji’s heart stopped. He also used RCT to heal Naoya from the deadly poison in Choso’s blood. During his final battle with Ryomen Sukuna, Yuta heavily depended on RCT to survive, repeatedly using it to heal from devastating injuries – even after being cut in half – and prevent himself from dying.
Gojo Satoru
Honestly, seeing Satoru Gojo almost die fighting Toji Fushiguro was the catalyst he needed to truly unlock the Reverse Cursed Technique. It was a brutal wake-up call! But even though it took something that extreme, it didn’t diminish his power at all. In fact, he mastered the RCT and uses it constantly throughout the series, and we really see just how powerful it is during his insane fight with Sukuna.
While Satoru Gojo can’t use his special healing ability on others like Ryomen Sukuna, he’s still performed amazing feats with it that most sorcerers can only dream of. He’s quickly healed from injuries inside Sukuna’s domain, recovered his cursed techniques when exhausted, and even regenerated damaged body parts. These actions prove how incredibly skilled and dependable Gojo is with his healing technique.
Ryomen Sukuna
In Jujutsu Kaisen, Ryomen Sukuna has shown impressive uses of his Reverse Cursed Technique, benefiting not just himself and Yuji Itadori, but also manipulating Megumi Fushiguro to his own advantage.
Using the Reverse Cursed Technique on yourself is hard enough, but healing others with it is even more difficult. Ryomen Sukuna, however, does it with ease. He’s proven his incredible skill in Jujutsu Kaisen by both restarting Yuji Itadori’s heart and mending the damage done by Maki’s Split Soul Katana, solidifying his place as a remarkably powerful Reverse Cursed Technique user.
Kinji Hakari
Defeating Kinji Hakari one-on-one is incredibly challenging and requires a deep understanding of the Reverse Cursed Technique. Even powerful, experienced sorcerers like Hajime Kashimo find it nearly impossible to truly defeat Hakari, as his regeneration is faster than both Sukuna and Gojo’s.
Okay, so get this – Hakari’s Domain Expansion is absolutely insane! If he lands a hit within it, he basically heals instantly. We’re talking limbs growing back, serious wounds closing up, even poisons being neutralized, all in the blink of an eye and he’s right back in the fight! What’s even crazier is that his body just does this automatically – he doesn’t even have to try! It’s like his body is constantly repairing itself without him even thinking about it.
