NTE: Neverness to Everness has unveiled the first outfit for Hotori, a new playable character. She’ll be wearing a beautiful formal dress! Hotori is scheduled to become available as a special, limited-time character in the game’s launch update, and will be the second S-Rank character featured in the gacha banner.
Since launching in late April, NTE has kept players busy with character collecting and exploring the city of Hethereau. The game lets you build friendships with characters, unlocking perks like car rides, dates, and exclusive outfits as your bond grows. Beyond the main story, there’s plenty to do, including managing a cafe, participating in street races, and even planning bank heists. Now, NTE is introducing its second limited-time character: Hotori, the owner of the Eibon Antique Shop.
NTE Reveals Hotori’s Priceless Orchid Skin
Hotta Studio has unveiled a new look for Hotori, called Priceless Orchid, on their social media. Instead of her usual Japanese clothing, Hotori will wear a formal dress, and the skin’s artwork features a mysterious backdrop filled with orchids. Previously, Hotta Studio hinted that this skin would be a reward for doing 100 pulls on Hotori’s special gacha banner. Hotori is expected to be released with the second part of Version 1.0 of the game on May 13th.

NetEase has revealed more rewards players can get from using the in-game Hotori banner. Getting Hotori 50 times will unlock a glider themed after her umbrella, and 100 pulls will give players a special bike decoration featuring her colors. Hotori will likely also have at least one other outfit available, possibly a casual look, once players reach Bond level 10 with her.
Hotta Studio has been giving us glimpses of Hotori for a while, and she’s launching in NTE soon! She’s confirmed as a Cosmos character who will both support the team and deal significant damage. Hotori has a unique ability called Non-Closed Timepiece, letting her slow down time during battles and even mimic her allies’ special defensive moves with her Ultimate. We still don’t know what Hotori’s Life Skill will be, but these skills usually provide benefits in NTE‘s side games and overall gameplay.
