After a stunning victory over the Devander, Will Serfort unexpectedly earns a spot at the Mercedes Caulis – the tower home to the most powerful magic users. This marks the start of a new adventure for Will, who has just graduated from Rigarden Magical Academy, in Season 2, Episode 5 of Wistoria: Wand and Sword.

Is Rosty Nowman Alive in Wistoria?
Rosty Nowman was killed during the attack on the capital city while protecting Will Serfort. However, his actual fate is unclear, as he mysteriously appeared in Wistoria Season 2, Episode 5. He looks remarkably well for someone who is supposed to be dead, leading viewers to question if this reappearance is a trick, a duplicate, or if it’s really him.
Will Serfort, Rosty’s roommate and close friend, is heartbroken by his death, especially as he nears graduation. Rosty’s absence is felt everywhere in their room, with memories around every corner. Will keeps thinking back to when they first met, and to Rosty’s struggles with the tower – struggles Rosty confided in him about, feeling he couldn’t keep pace.
Colette grieved Rosty’s death privately. She laid flowers in his memory and felt a pang of guilt for having once been jealous of his friendship with Will Serfort. Despite not particularly liking Rosty, she was saddened by his sudden death in the show.

The Day of Near Doom May Happen Again
The Magia Vander Begins Their Investigation
The attack by Headless and Marze at Terminalia deeply worried Aaron Masterias Oldking, the most powerful member of the Magia Vander. He believes the attackers are trying to repeat the events of ‘The Day of Near Doom,’ when the Magia Vander united to fight a common enemy – likely the Celestial Host. If he’s correct, they must quickly assemble a team of powerful mages to prepare for the coming battle.
To make sure this doesn’t happen again, Aaron instructs each of the Magia Vander groups to conduct their own investigations. They’re asked to thoroughly review the events of both the Terminalia festival and the All-Student Praxis, specifically the fight between Will Serfort and his friends against the Grand Duke in the underground dungeon.
Aaron also instructs his assistant to change who’s in charge of watching Will Serfort. Instead of Principal Caldron Anouve, Finn – who Iris also calls Invess – will now be responsible. Finn doesn’t like being called by his old name, but he’s determined to continue overseeing Will Serfort.

Will Will Serfort and Elfaria Reunite in Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2?
A standout moment in Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2, Episode 5 is Will Serfort’s graduation. Will didn’t think he’d be among the fifty mages chosen to climb the tower, but Principal Caldron made a surprising decision. Although Will hadn’t earned enough credits, he qualified by inventing a new spell called Courage.
Will Serfort possesses a special ability called Courage, which isn’t like typical magic. It’s powered by his own willpower and drive to improve, making it unique to him. Because of this, Principal Caldron rightfully permitted Will to climb the Magia Vander tower.
Will Serfort is now joining the Grim Generation as they continue their journey to become Wistoria’s strongest mages in the new arc, Wand and Sword. The sixth episode of Wistoria Season 2, titled “The First Bloom,” will likely show Will and Elfaria finally reunite. We might also see the Grim Generation meet the current members of the Magia Vander.
