The video shows a remarkably accurate build of the iconic fighter, complete with a working laser for taking down enemies from above. Remarkably, the user achieved this without using any mods or hacks, relying instead on clever use of in-game glitches to adjust the size of objects and complete the build.

It’s no surprise that this incredible Arwing, built within Tears of the Kingdom, has become popular on the Hyrule Engineering subreddit, quickly racking up hundreds of likes and comments. The creator, susususu-storage, shared that they actually planned to release the Star Fox build video before Nintendo announced its latest Direct presentation – a happy coincidence! They also mentioned Star Fox is one of their all-time favorite games. Fans loved the design, and susususu-storage generously provided the QR code so others can experience flying around Hyrule as Fox McCloud.
It’s almost been three years since Tears of the Kingdom was released on May 12, 2023, initially for the original Switch, and later for a Switch 2 version. Even though it’s a single-player game, players keep coming back, largely because of its creative building features. The community is getting remarkably skilled, as shown by impressive builds like this Arwing created by susususu-storage, who—like others—are using glitches and clever techniques to build amazing machines. Another player recently built a train inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, using the game’s building tools to bring their vision to life.
