A Pokemon GO player created a delightful set of Lechonk-themed truffles to celebrate the game’s May Community Day. These handmade sweets showcase different cute expressions of the Pokemon introduced in Generation 9.
Pokémon GO’s Community Days are a big hit with players. These monthly events greatly increase the number of a specific Pokémon that appears in the game, and also make it easier to find its rare, shiny version. Players also get special bonuses during Community Days, like unique moves for evolved Pokémon, and more experience points and Stardust for their catches. Recently, the Lechonk Community Day inspired a Pokémon fan to create some beautiful, Lechonk-themed treats.
Pokemon GO Fan Creates Stunning Lechonk Truffles
A Reddit user named miscellaneousmao created adorable Oreo truffles inspired by the Pokémon Lechonk to celebrate the May Community Day event in Pokémon GO. Each truffle featured a different, cheerful design of the pig Pokémon from the ninth generation. Some truffles showed Lechonk with its ears flopped over its eyes, while others had its ears standing straight up. The user even made some truffles based on Lechonk’s shiny pink form, adding an extra special touch to the impressive batch of treats.

Okay, so I saw this post with these Lechonk truffles, and seriously, they looked amazing! Everyone in the comments was obsessed with how cute they were – some people even said they were naming their own Lechonks after them! The person who made them, miscellaneousmao, is a legend. People are saying this post was the best part of Community Day, and honestly, I can see why. They’ve been making themed treats for every Pokemon GO Community Day since the Swinub one way back in February 2019 – it’s seriously impressive!
The May Community Day event in Pokemon GO encouraged players to catch lots of Lechonks. Players who evolved a Lechonk into Oinkologne during the event unlocked the Mud Slap Fast Attack, a powerful move with 19 Power in Gyms and Raids and 11 Power in Trainer Battles. The event also featured the usual bonuses, like reduced egg-hatching distances, longer-lasting Incense, and double the Candy when catching Pokemon.

Now that the Lechonk event is over, Pokémon GO has announced dates for several upcoming Community Days. Niantic confirmed events will take place on June 20, July 4, and August 15, although the featured Pokémon are still to be revealed. The game also announced dates for other regular events: Raid Days will be held on June 27 and August 22, and a Hatch Day is scheduled for August 8. It looks like Pokémon GO players can expect a fun and busy summer with plenty of events and chances to catch new Pokémon.
