I’ve noticed that Prime Video has been adding a lot of great anime lately, and I’m happy to report that Nippon Sangoku is among them. It’s available to watch with both dubbed audio and subtitles in many different languages. The anime itself was created by Studio Kafka, and Kazuaki Terasawa directed it.

Adapting the manga Nippon Sangoku was a challenge, particularly with the choice to maintain a visual style similar to the original artwork. Takahiko Abiru managed both the character design and animation direction, and the results are impressive. This isn’t a typical, vibrant action anime; instead, it aims to be impactful in a more subtle way.
