As the release of Forza Horizon 6 gets closer, Playground Games has shared more information about the special car players can get by pre-ordering: the rare J50 Ferrari. Over the last few weeks, Playground Games has been giving fans a look at Forza Horizon 6, which is set in the varied landscapes of Japan. Players will be able to race across mountains, along the coast, and through the bright city streets of Tokyo, offering a wide range of driving experiences.
Just days before its official launch, excitement for Forza Horizon 6 has been dampened by an unexpected leak. Dataminers have gained full access to the game, and Playground Games is responding strongly, promising bans for anyone playing the leaked version. However, there’s also some good news: Playground Games has announced a special bonus for those who pre-ordered the game.
Forza Horizon 6 Reveals the J50 Ferrari
The official Forza Horizon Twitter account recently shared a closer look at the car you get as a bonus for pre-ordering the game. Now that Forza Horizon 6 is finished being made, there’s a limited time to pre-order and receive the special, already-tuned J50 Ferrari. This rare car was originally created to celebrate 50 years of Ferrari in Japan – only 10 were ever made, and each one was uniquely customized for its owner.

The announcement included gameplay footage of the car driving around the large map of Japan in Forza Horizon 6. While the game officially releases on May 19th, players who purchase the Ultimate Edition will be able to start playing on May 15th. It’s currently unclear how Xbox Game Pass subscribers will receive the car, as Forza Horizon 6 will be available to download on launch day. It’s possible simply pre-installing the game will unlock it, but Playground Games hadn’t provided clarification as of this writing.
In addition to showcasing the J50, Playground Games has previewed the cars that will be available through the Forza Horizon 6 Car Pass. A promotional image showed off several vehicles, including the Audi R8 GT, Datsun #269 Attacking The Clock Racing 240Z Time Attack, Honda Civic Type R (both versions), Koenigsegg Gemera, the 1974 Mazda #123 FURSTY 808 Wagon, and the Nissan #12 CALSONIC Skyline GT-R. This is likely only a small part of the full selection, and players are awaiting official details and the complete car list from Playground Games.
